Studio D’Occasion functions as practice, platform, and provider. Not in time nor in space, but in reality by virtue of presence.  My goal will always be to provide relevant and highly coveted pieces and share my knowledge of reselling to foster a strong community.




Our Story


I used to consider myself an artist and now I consider myself a designer. Studio D'Occasion (SDO) allows me to craft a new experience by integrating and sharing my own knowledge of the business. This is a space for :

  • Highly Curated selection of pieces.
  • Goods I've designed from recycled garments.
  • 3D/Digital work
  • Information on reselling and starting your own business.

Studio D’Occasion is a culmination my greatest loves in life. It’s a synthesis of music, movies, philosophy, art, and fashion. I have loved streetwear since he started to dive deep into it through the Hypebeast forums in the mid 2000’s where he fell in love with this deep, niche subculture. He now wants to continue to give that experience through his boutique. SDO exist to bridge the gap between the tourist and the purist by providing fashion forward products at a democratic price.


            Streetwear is egalitarian in its approach, yet it's prided on its exclusivity and clout. There’s value in this mindset, but I believe that there is greater value in opening up the space for others to join the conversation. Said conversation is now a global phenom reaching far and wide. So it’s important that SDO belongs online because there is no concrete “central hub”. It is nomadic. It is Global. It belongs to no place, no time, no one. It is for all of us, everywhere, anytime.





            One of the most fascinating aspects of streetwear is the dedication to education. I pride myself on becoming familiar with brands, their creators, and the movements that follow suite. Studio D’Occasion intends to further this by creating content that centers not only around vendors, but also how they grew to be where they are. As well as creating events in a physical space, our website also offers as a place to learn about other artist, designers, musicians, writers, etc., through editorial interviews.

            So we are a retailer, but we are also so much more. Studio D’Occasion is a hub for community experience, and education.  Engrained within the company is a strong sense of self, and a strong sense of responsibility. I give back because I have to. I give back because I want to. Without those who have given to me, I would be nothing.




Our Process


            All of Studio D’Occasion is structured around these 9 mandates. Whether it’s the clothes I buy for the store, the people, to the direction of my campaigns. These keep SDO aligned in every aspect and make sure that I continue to push to expand the ideas of fashion and retail.

Our Culture

           
            Fashion and retail is our business, but we are so much more than that. We exist to challenge the status quo and provide a space where we can evolve and do greater in this world. I want to  emphasize treating our community, vendors, and team members like I would a close friend. Everything we do at Studio D’Occasion (SDO) is run through the “Street. Tech.Smart.” lens. This includes how we expect team members to act.

    • Through the aid of technology, we can bridge the physical gap of distance by providing our products, as well as an experience and education to a global market.

    • We continue to educate ourselves about the ever evolving fashion and art world so that we can provide our customers with whats on the edge of trending.
